Vote for Our SXSW Edu 2019 Panel: Help Us Get Selected for SXSW
Did you know that I’ve been consulting for and teaching at educational institutions for about 5 years? From preschools and charter schools to universities and community colleges, I’ve had a truly rewarding time working with organizations to help them better connect with their stakeholders (parents, teachers, students) and build connections through digital tools.
That’s why I’m collaborating with colleagues from the University of Arizona, Central New Mexico Community College, and Boosterthon to bring to SXSW 2019 a panel on how digital technologies are currently impacting community-building and how these trends will evolve in the next 3-5 years.
Whether it’s bringing families into auditoriums through Facebook Live for graduation, connecting teachers with each other to learn and discover curricula, facilitating fundraising and inspiration from connections local and far-flung, or virtually creating classroom spaces for distance learners, these trends impact all of our lives.
I hope to bring these topics to the education-oriented portion of SXSW, and I’d love your support as I do it.
